The Center of Scienced and Industry will be holding its annual COSI Science Festival over four days in early May.
Known as Ohio's largest STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) Festival, the event will have free activities in many parts of the Columbus area.
From May 1st to 3rd, activities will include nature walks, educational talks, and tours. Be A Scientist events will include NASA astronaut conversations, Learning Lunchbox STEM kit demonstrations, glass blowing, and a contest.
An Adult Science Series will offer learning experiences such as brewery tours, and science trivia, and Art events will be free to the public.
BioBlitz will be three days when participants will be taking pictures of many species of animals and plants throughout their communities for research.
West Columbus science enthusiasts will not want to miss the closing event on May 4th, which will be a Big Science Celebration with more than 100 exhibitor stations where STEAM experts, researchers and professionals offering hands-on-science experiences. This celebration will take placed outside COSI on the Scioto Peninsula.

The COSI Science Festival will take place May 1st through the 4th, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm with most events taking place at The Center of Science and Industry (COSI) located at 333 W Broad St. Columbus.
