This month, Grandview Heights locals can enjoy an evening of bike races, live entertainment, and refreshments.
The 21st annual Tour de Grandview Cycling Classic draws hundreds of professional cyclists to the area. The fast courses will go through local suburban streets.
There will be several races for both men and women. Cash prizes will be distributed to the top finishers, and there will also be a two-lap charity event.
Youngsters can take part in the Kids’ Sprints, and participants will be given a new bike helmet and a participation ribbon. There is no fee to take part, but individuals can preregister any weekday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm at Grandview Center, located on 1515 West Goodale Avenue.
At the tour’s street party, attendees can enjoy local beer and food trucks. In addition, businesses will be selling bicycles and gear. A bike will be given away in a raffle. Residents along the course also have ‘house parties’.
Volunteers are needed to help set up, clean up, and work at the event. In addition, these helpers will have the chance to meet pro-cyclists.
It is likely a banner printing service has created large Signs for the event. Often, sponsors’ names and logos are printed on event Banners.
