Upscale Cincinnati area mall getting new restaurants

The new $350m Liberty Township development, Liberty Center, is welcoming new tenants.

The Kona Grill, Cheesecake Factory, and Brio Tuscan Grille will be joining Pies & Pints in the new project. Liberty Center is a mixed-use development located near Interstate 75 and Liberty Way, and promises to be a huge draw for shoppers from all over the area.

Other retailers going into the center include Dick's Sporting Goods, Dillard's, Cobb Theatres' CinéBistro, and an AC Hotel, part of the Marriott International, Inc. family of brands. AC Hotels are inspired by the fashion designers of Milan and are given a modern edge. The new hotel will have 130 rooms.

Liberty Center is being developed by Steiner + Associates, and Bucksbaum Retail Properties, a Chicago company, is joining Steiner to develop the retail section. Steiner CEO Yaromir Steiner said he believes there will eventually be a dozen restaurants in Liberty Center, occupying a total of 62,000 square feet of the first phase of the project. When completed, the center will be a shopping destination covering 1.1 million square feet.

The developers could work with a postcard printing company to create a card for Mailing to area residents, featuring a sketch of the project, listing the prominent tenants, and inviting them to visit the center once the new tenants are in place.
