Tribute band raises Toast in Cincinnati

A tribute band to a classic soft rock outfit will be in Cincinnati soon.

TOAST is the perfectly named tribute band for Bread, a soft rock band that formed in Los Angeles in 1969. During the period 1970-1977, Bread had 13 songs on the Billboard Top 100 chart.

Bread’s most successful album was 1972’s “Baby I’m-a Want You,” which made it to the No. 3 spot on the Billboard 200. The single of the same name was also successful, also climbing to No. 3. Today, the last two members of Bread are retired but their music lives on, thanks to TOAST, their tribute band.

TOAST – The BEST of BREAD has received some high praise for its authenticity. One concert review says:

“If you are a casual fan of Bread, you heard all the hits…..if you are a diehard fan, you heard some of the deeper cuts. Such a great show.”

TOAST got their start almost by accident. Frontman Jeff Clark says the band’s defining moment came in 2019 in Utah, when he and his friends decided to perform a single tribute performance, “A Toast to Bread.” The audience response was immediate, and TOAST was off and running.

TOAST will appear at the Ludlow Garage on Wednesday, July 8. Using poster printing, event organizers can generate publicity for performances like this.
