Tribute to one of pops supergroups coming to Cincinnati

A tribute band to one of Sweden’s most popular exports is headed to Cincinnati.

Direct From Sweden – The Music of ABBA comprises some of the most talented and experienced singers and musicians from Sweden. The tribute band captures the look and sound of one of the greatest pop groups of all time, thanks to their meticulous attention to movement, musical arrangements, make-up, costumes, and vocalizations.

The group doesn’t overlook anything or leave details to chance. Instead, they duplicate many of ABBA’s practices and signature qualities, including a live band and backup singers, accurate musical numbers, and precisely delivered solos. Their detail-oriented shows make them a standout from other ABBA tribute groups and ensure audiences will feel like they are listening to the original group. The songs audiences can expect to hear include classics like “Dancing Queen,” “Fernando,” and “Money Money Money.”

ABBA was founded in Stockholm in 1972 and went on to become one of the most popular groups in the world. They disbanded in 1982 with their music still popular and the inspiration for two films, “Mamma Mia” and “Mamma Mia Here We Go Again.” It is estimated that they sold approximately 150 million records throughout the world.

Direct From Sweden – The Music of ABBA will be at the Ludlow Garage on October 5. When they set up performances like this, organizers will often use poster printing to create suitable advertising for the event.
