Popular YouTube live show comes to Cincinnati

A live show based on a YouTube program for children is coming to Cincinnati.

Blippi is a YouTube series created by Stevin John that debuted in 2010. The show is made for toddlers and children, and features the adventures of Blippi, an energetic and curious character who explores ordinary venues such as zoos and factories. As he tours the facilities, he describes them to his viewers, asking questions and explaining the concepts behind the operation. The first show featured tractors. Moonbug Entertainment acquired Blippi in 2020 and is now owned by Candie Media.

The show has gained a world-wide following and is dubbed into other languages including Polish, Arabic, Japanese, German, French, and Spanish. Additional series have been spun off from the original, including one focused on vehicles, and new characters have come aboard.
A live show has also grown from the series and is coming to Cincinnati. The “Be Like Blippi” tour invites audiences to indulge their curiosity about ordinary items. The musical features popular songs such as “Curious Like Me,” “Dino Dance,” “Monster Truck” and “The Excavator Song.” The titles of the songs indicate some of the items that have caught Blippi’s attention. The show is interactive and invites audiences to sing, dance, laugh, and learn along with the cast.

When shows and performances are being promoted locally, poster printing is a cost effective method with Posters displayed in the venue and local areas with high footfall.

The Be Like Blippi Tour is scheduled to appear at the Taft Theatre on April 4.
