Those whose New Year’s resolution is to find new employment can take advantage of an upcoming event.
The Cincinnati Job Fair is on the way, and the event is free for anyone who is looking for a job, whether that person is a professional at the executive level, just starting out, or in mid-career. Attendees will be able to make connections with many potential employers in a few hours.
Hiring managers will be present from businesses ranging from small local shops to Fortune 500 giants. Job seekers attending these events learn which businesses are hiring, and what they are looking for in potential employees. This means people looking for work will not have to mail resumés over and over again in hopes of landing an interview. Instead, they can talk to hiring managers directly, and learn from them whether or not their resumé is effective, perhaps presenting Business Cards at the same time. There is even a chance they will be hired at the event.
Among the industries send representatives to these events are retail, publishing, public relations, technology, insurance, media, broadcasting, biotechnology, agriculture, advertising, fine arts, consulting, construction, computers, health, green technology, and accounting.
The Cincinnati Job Fair is scheduled for Tuesday, February 18, at the Hyatt Place Sharonville Convention Center, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.
