Nickelback, Stone Temple Pilots, and Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown are headed for Cincinnati.
Nickelback is a post-grunge Canadian rock band, whose breakthrough came in 2001, with “Silver Side Up.” Singles released from that album included the hit “How You Remind Me,” which hit the number one spot on the Modern Rock, Mainstream Rock, and Billboard Hot 100 charts. The group has sold over 50 million albums worldwide.
One concertgoer said simply:
“Best concert you will ever see.”
Stone Temple Pilots were successful from the beginning. In 1992, they released their debut album, “Core,” which soared to the number three spot on Billboard's 200 chart. Hits from that album included “Plush,” which won a Grammy Award. They have more than 70 million album sales to their credit, and one reviewer said:
“When STP took the stage, the crowd erupted . . . I didn't stop singing and dancing until STP left the stage.”
Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown seem to defy classification, blending modern, hard, and classic rock with a little bit of blues. Fans have no problem, with one saying:
“These guys are the real thing. Quality musicians whose rock groove is rooted from the blues.”
The bands will be at the Riverbend Music Center on Kellogg Avenue on June 27, starting at 6:30 pm. Poster printing can be used to create appropriate Posters for this type of event.
