Revisit an iconic band in Cincinnati

A band that wrote the soundtrack for the 1970s is still making music - in a slightly different format.

Revisiting Creedence keeps the Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) legacy alive with shows that featuring the legendary band’s material. Even better, the group’s frontmen, Kurt Griffey and Dan McGuiness, have performed with rock stars including founding members of the touring project that honors CCR, Creedence Clearwater Revisited.

Griffey and McGuiness joined Creedence Clearwater Revisited in 2011, and played approximately 1,000 concerts throughout the world, touring the United States, New Zealand, Mexico, South America, and Canada, playing the hits of one of the original supergroups.

Revisiting Creedence works well because of the experience and musicianship of its members. Drawing on their experience with Creedence Clearwater Revisited, McGinness and Griffey perform the hits everyone knows including “Proud Mary,” “Born on the Bayou,” “Bad Moon Rising,” “Green River,” “Down on the Corner” and more.

Drummer Ron Wikso keeps the group anchored. One of the world’s greatest drummers, Wikso has sat in with Creedence Clearwater Revisited, and toured with stars like Santana, Richie Sambora, David Lee Roth, Cher, and more. Mat Scarpelli puts a floor under the group with his work on the bass. A review says:

“From start to finish, Revisiting Creedence gave fans a fun, nostalgic night filled with classic rock hits and great musicianship.”

Revisiting Creedence will be at the Ludlow Garage in Cincinnati on October 23. When they plan events like this, organizers can use poster printing methods to publicize them.
