Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members Lynyrd Skynyrd have resumed their Big Wheels Keep On Turnin’ tour after a long wait. They will be stopping in Cincinnati in early October, alongside The Marshall Tucker Band, as well as Damon Johnson.
The group has been behind countless hits, their biggest being “Sweet Home Alabama”. Combined, over 30 million records have been sold since their debut in the 1970s years ago. Gary Rossington, now age 69, is the only remaining founding member of the group.
The show will be at the Riverbend Music Center. Proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event are required in order to attend. This will apply to everyone, no matter their age.
VIP packages range from $364 to $950. The highest level includes a virtual meet and greet, which will occur at an earlier date. This and the next package down both contain a front row seat ticket. The last two include a reserved seat, although not in the front row. Every package includes a wall flag featuring a Lynyrd Skynyrd graphic design, a patch and pin set, bandana, and a commemorative Print (which will be signed for the gold package).
Regular tickets start at $29.50. There is a lawn at the venue, so attendees who need seats should make sure they purchase the correct ticket. The doors will open at 5:30 pm, with the show beginning at 7:00 pm. The date is Saturday, October 9.
