International Wine Festival coming to Cincinnati

The 23rd Annual International Wine Festival will take place in Cincinnati later this week, giving attendees the chance to celebrate the finest vintages that vintners in the area have to offer, along with scrumptious food. The event is billed as one of the largest festivals of its type in the Midwest and is held at the Cincinnati Convention Center.

The highlight feature of the two-day event is The Grand Tasting with over 130 wineries offering over 600 wines to try, and this is taking place at the Duke Energy Convention Center. There will also be many types of cuisine provided by local restaurant chefs throughout the festival, along with souvenirs of the event and live music.

There will be a charity auction held at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza Hall of Mirrors on West Fifth Street. It will consist of live and silent auctions with many impressive wines in the catalog. Some auction items include limited-release wines, rare vintages, grand format bottles signed by winemakers, along trips, tours, and more.

Chef Todd Kelly from the Hilton Netherland will prepare a luncheon comprised of amazing cuisine along with wines from across the country. The ticket price for the auction luncheon is $125.

Events of this type frequently call upon the services of local Print companies to provide catalog printing. Catalogs are used to present information about the event, the participants, venue, history, and other relevant details. They also make a productive resource for recognizing sponsors.

The official 2013 Cincinnati Magazine Wine Festival Tasting Guide is available for free download on the event website, along with ticket purchase options. The event will take place this Thursday, March 7, until Saturday, March 9.
