What's Happening in Cincinnati, OH…

Boot camp for employers scheduled

Employers who want to learn why employees behave as they do should consider attending an upcoming workshop in Cincinnati.

Don Rheem, a TEDx speaker and author, has scheduled an Employee Engagement Boot Camp to help managers learn the skills they need to support a diverse workforce. The one-day seminar is an intensive look at the science of engaging employees.

Managers who attend the event will learn tips they can act on immediately to engage with their employees at higher levels. They will also gain an understanding of how such engagement can improve a business's profits, quality, employee retention, productivity, and more.

The talk will also cover the best ways to communicate with employees, give feedback, and recognize accomplishments. Rheem will also discuss how a clear understanding of the culture of an organization can help achieve long-term goals, and insights into how to maximize the loyalty and passion of customers.

The in-depth workshop will give managers a chance to better their leadership skills, which in turn will improve their efficiency. They will learn the surprising factors that inspire employees to their best efforts, and examine those qualities that seem to be hard-wired into people to carry out excellent work. Attendees are encouraged to participate in the discussions.

The workshop is scheduled for next Wednesday, October 30, from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm, at CR Architecture on Vine Street. Print shops can help create materials for sessions like this.
