Boat show sailing into Cincinnati

The Cincinnati Travel, Sports & Boat Show is coming to Cincinnati's Duke Energy Convention Center this month.

The show will feature over 700 exhibits and displays of boats and equipment, as well as seminars and the opportunity to talk to outfitters.

The show features a 17,000-gallon pool where demonstrations are held and where prospective customers can try out kayaks, paddleboards, canoes, and other equipment before they buy. It is also used for demonstrations by experts who will tackle subjects like how to fit a kayak for fishing, and how to select the kayak in the first place.

There will also be a number of dealers on hand for those who are buying their first boat, or those who are ready to move up to a larger vessel. Among the vendors who will be at the show are Allcraft Marine (which handles products like Harris Floteboat Pontoons and Mercury Outboard Motors) and Dixie Marine (which handles Evinrude, Mercury, and Yamaha). There are over 20 vendors attending the show.

The boat show is scheduled to run for almost two weeks, with a short break: January 13-15, and January 18-22. Since this is the 60th show, admission on the night of Friday, January 13 is free from 5:30 to 9:30 pm.

Events like this can benefit if organizers work with a flyer printing company to create handouts that list vendors, locations, and times of events.
