Legendary rockers Pink Floyd have had an immense impact on music, with their rock opera ‘The Wall’ proving to be a milestone in the art. Now tickets are on sale for another of their operas - ‘Another Brick in the Wall—the Opera’.
The opera will be performed in the recently renovated Music Hall, which has three performance spaces. The main theater, the Springer Auditorium, will be the venue for the rock opera, which is preceded on the schedule by Verdi's ‘La Traviata’ and ‘The Flying Dutchman’ by Wagner.
‘Another Brick in the Wall’ had its world premiere in Montreal, and three of the stars of that production, which was sold out, will appear in Cincinnati. The opera, which carries an ‘R’ rating, has a running time of about two hours.
The presale period ends October 31, and the tickets now on sale are single seats for the shows scheduled for July 26, 28, and 31, 2018. The Cincinnati production is the US premiere, and the run starts July 20, 2018. Tickets, which are likely to sell quickly, are available online or by phone at 513-241-2742.
Theater management groups preparing for major events like this could work with a poster printing company to create Posters for the concert, and make them available for sale on the day.
