Country rock band and friends stop by Cincinnati

A band known for its compelling blend of pop, country, and rock will be appearing soon in Cincinnati, as will their friends. Organizers who plan events like this often use poster printing to create advertising.

Austin Martin & The Herd are coming to the Ludlow Garage, bringing Cody Parks & the Dirty South, and Charley Farley with them.

Austin Martin & the Herd are marked by outstanding songwriting and a commanding stage presence. Their fanbase is growing, and their music was streamed over four million times in six months. The group has its roots in Montana and the band believes in giving back. They have partnered with Feeding America to help end hunger and try to spend time at local food banks, often bagging groceries, at each stop.

Cody Park & the Dirty South, like Austin Martin and the Herd, blend country with other genres into something new. They got together in 2019 in Nashville but avoided the “country” label and instead combined their roots in country music with their love of the heavy metal bands of the 1980s and 1990s. Critics say they have created a new genre, “Country Metal.”

Charley Farley is another artist who has blended country with a different genre, in this case hip-hop. He has been influenced by artists as different as Hank Williams and Tupac. A De Queen, Arkansas, native, Farley’s vocal work is authentic, adding hints of melody to the rhythms of hip-hop.

The concert is scheduled for September 3.
