Pub night in Centerville
A popular Centerville restaurant is holding another one of its special dinners, pairing a curated menu with selected wines.
Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants Centerville location is hosting A Night at the Pub, featuring a menu that might be found at a traditional English pub. The restaurant will be serving cold-weather comfort food common in the Old World, but with its own spin. They suggest that attendees might like to wear plaid caps and woolen sweaters, but such attire is not required.
The evening begins with a glass of prosecco, a sparkling white wine from Italy. That will be followed by Yorkshire pudding with chives and horseradish butter.
Next comes an English beef stew made with braised beef and winter root vegetables, served with a cheddar dumpling. The pairing is with Cooper’s Hawk Ale.
The next course is Chicken Tikka Masala served with roasted grape tomatoes, cashew spinach, and ginger rice. The beverage with this course is Global Cuvée, Cooper Hawk’s January Wine of the Month.
Dessert is a delicious, traditional, immensely rich sticky toffee pudding. The pudding will be served with vanilla ice cream topped with a crumble of white chocolate. A Highland hot toddy will accompany the pudding. Special events of this type can benefit when organizers use flyer printing methods to create festive menus.
