Centerville children to explore Winged Things

Centerville-Washington Park District will present a one-week camp for children ages 5-12. The theme is Winged Things.

The focus will be on all types of animals and insects that have wings, not just birds. The participants will have the opportunity to see them in the wilderness, as well as up close in some cases.

Flyers are ideal for communicating local activities such as this. The flyer printing can include images, graphics, organizer and sponsor recognition, and details about the event. They can be distributed, direct mailed or made available at various locations. Local Print shops can assist with printing the Flyers.

Those registering through the park district’s system for the first time should input Dayton as the city upon creating the account. The system does not recognize Centerville as a city at this time.

The Winged Things camp will take place August 2 to 5 from 9:00 am until noon each day at the Grant Park. The park is located at 501 Normandy Ridge Rd. The registration fee is $55 for the week for residents or $85 for non-residents. The deadline for registration is Monday, July 26. When the camp is full, a waitlist will be created for those wishing to be listed in the event of cancellations or openings.
