Centerville celebrates Bolivian cuisine

Nelly’s, located on S. Maine in Centerville, is hosting a ‘Tour of Bolivia’ dinner event, comprising the culinary delights found in landlocked South American nation throughout the evening.

Guests can expect a full five-course dinner beginning with Choripan bites which consist of smoke sausage served on toasted bread with a fresh chimichurri salsa. Course two offers an organic spring mix salad with cranberries, pickled beets, and a cheese topping.

Pique macho will be the next tasting activity, and this is for the guests with a hearty appetite. Pieces of beef and sausage surrounded by peppers, potatoes, and onions, and of course the staple of many Bolivian dishes, hard-boiled eggs.

Moving into the much anticipated main course, Nelly’s famous chicken cooked rotisserie style will be served complete with sauces found in the Bolivian region, such as BBQ and white sauce.

Topping off the night’s food tour, homemade flan consisting of baked egg custard and caramel sauce will be served.

Frequently, events of this nature are advertised via poster printing provided by local Print shops. Posters are typically created in full color and can be mounted on easels, doors, windows, or be free standing.

The cost of the special event in Centerville is $32 per person and is on a prepay basis only. The ‘Tour of Bolivia’ will take place on March 12 at Nelly’s beginning at 6:00 pm. For more information contact the venue or visit the website.
