This June, the Smithtown business community is invited to the North Shore Young Professionals (NSYP) X James's Journey Summer Charity Event, a fundraiser for mental health awareness.
The North Shore Young Professionals (NYSP) is an organization of young businesspeople under the age of 35 with a passion for business and a knack for entrepreneurship. The organization connects young entrepreneurs with like-minded peers and mentors to help them grow their business. The group also is involved in community outreach and volunteer work. This year, NYSP has teamed up with James’ Journey, a local association advocating for mental health awareness.
The fundraiser will take place at Napper Tandy’s Irish Pub and will serve as both a networking function and charity event. There will be an open bar and hearty Irish food served. There will also be a game area set up where attendees can play charity poker and blackjack, and a DJ will be spinning tunes in the background. A silent auction will be ongoing as well, showcasing autographed sports memorabilia.
