This February, Weekenddating.com will host the Valentine’s Speed Dating Event at Katies of Smithtown for any Long Island singles in their 50s wanting some help finding their sweetheart.
The speed dating event is designed for local singles ages 53 to 65 for men and 50 to 63 for women. Organizers will have appropriate age verification in place so that all participants are guaranteed the experience they signed up for. Local bar Katies of Smithtown will be the hosting venue, providing plenty of space for participants to mill around the two floors plus outdoor patio.
Once everything is set up, participants will have four to six minutes with each other to chat and learn more about their partner until they switch to a new person. With each new partner, the participants will keep a score card to make notes on if they feel a connection. After the event, these scorecards will be given to the organizer, and the following day, participants will receive the results in their inbox with who they matched.
Events that rely on printed paper materials like score cards may find that local Print shops in their area offer the appropriate supplies and services needed to prepare these.
The Valentine’s Speed Dating Event is scheduled for February 13 from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The Katies of Smithtown is located at 145 West Main Street, Smithtown.
