The Smithtown Kickers Soccer Club will host the Annual Turkey Trot this November to raise money for charity and provide a fun activity for the community.
The Turkey Trot will feature a 5K race for the more competitive or athletic participants and a Kids 1 Mile Fun Run for families. Both courses will begin and end at Smithtown Elementary, with the 5K making a larger loop than the fun run. Registration fees will go towards supporting the charities Angela’s House and Smithtown Children’s Foundation. Organizers also request that participants bring a canned food item to donate to the local food bank.
Pre-race registration and packet pickup will be on two dates, Monday, November 21 at American Roadside Burger, and Wednesday, November 23 at Smithtown Running Store. Day-of registration will be the morning of the race at Smithtown Elementary School.
Businesses wishing to become sponsors will have four sponsorship packages to choose from: bronze, silver, gold, and diamond. Each package will come with different perks, with the diamond package allowing company Logo Design to appear on the front and back of race T-Shirts and a year of advertising on the organizer’s website.
