The Smithtown Center for the Performing Arts will be starting its 18th season with ‘Annie’, a classic live production.
Annie tells the story of a young orphan girl who decides to find her parents and escapes the strict orphanage where she lives. She has fun-filled adventures and eventually finds herself a new home. The story is family-friendly and attracts viewers of all ages.
The show is being held at the Smithtown Center for the Performing Arts, located off East Main Street. There are multiple parking options in the area, including in nearby lots, although attendees should research where parking is available ahead of time.
The theater itself is handicap accessible, and has individual seats. There are two levels of seating, and seats are purchased. Ticket price varies per seat but range from $25 to $38 for all showings. Shows are primarily on weekends, but there are shows on Thursdays, Fridays, and even a few Mondays. Times vary, and some days have multiple shows a day. Tickets are currently available online or at the box office, which is open seven days a week.
