Next month, fans of new wave music will have the chance to celebrate their sweethearts and the sounds of Stereomatic when the band plays at local Smithtown bar.
Stereomatic is a Long Island-based cover band that specializes in 80s new wave and alternative rock music. They will be playing a special Valetine’s themed show called Stereomatic’s Flanneltine’s Day Party at Katie’s of Smithtown. Katie’s of Smithtown is a bar and live entertainment venue that is uniquely owned by artists and musicians. The venue has two floors of music stages, an outdoor patio, and expertly crafted cocktails.
The show is designed to offer a night of rocking music, dancing, and all manner of fun shenanigans. Organizers recommend that guests come dressed in flannel or pajamas, with flannel pajamas being even better. The band will be planning a range of songs in the categories of classic alterntaive, WLIR hists and 80s new wave. There will also be half-priced chocolate available for purchase.
