The Second Annual Mother’s Day Spring Market will be held in Smithtown this May to celebrate all mothers with a day of local shopping, delicious local eats, and fresh spring vibes.
The spring market will be hosted by TBA/Freebird Events, an event-organizing company that focuses on curated festivals, vendor events, and themed markets. Vendors at the market will showcase unique handmade items perfect for special Mother’s Day gift. There will be items such as pottery, plants, artisan jewelry, knitwear, cooking utensils, and artwork to shop from. There also be live on-the-spot poetry creations by a talented local poet who will write a poem in real time based on the customer’s chosen topic.
Mothers and their families will also enjoy fun activities and entertainment such as face painting and a meet-and-greet with a beloved pony-turned-unicorn. For food and beverages, there will be craft lemonade, artisan pretzels, and even an ice cream and coffee bar offered.
Vendors attending special markets like this may prepare for the influx of potential customers by refreshing their supply of Business Cards to hand out.
The Mother’s Day Spring Market will take place on Saturday, May 10, from 11:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The market will be held at St. Thomas Of Canterbury, which is located at 90 Edgewater Avenue. There is no cost to attend the market.
