Next month, Smithtown will host the 1st Annual Smithtown Kickers Golf Outing to raise money for Smithtown Kickers Top Soccer Outreach Program.
This youth soccer program that provides community-based placement for young people with mental or physical disabilities who want to take part in sports and athletics. The organization works to ensure that every child has an opportunity to learn how to play soccer in a supportive environment. The Smithtown Kickers is staffed by volunteers and provides the program completely free, so proceeds raised from November’s golfing event will go entirely towards the program.
The golfing event will begin with a shotgun start at 11:00 am. Afterwards, golfers and their guests will enjoy a reception featuring an open bar, appetizers, and dinner buffet. There will also be raffles to enter for chances to win fun prizes from sponsors. Businesses wishing to become sponsors can email golf@smithtownkickers.com.
The outing is slated for Monday, November 1 at Smithtown Landing Golf Course. The reception will be held at Napper Tandy’s Irish Bar. Individual golf packages are $175, while a foursome golf package is $700. Reception only tickets are $85.
