Smithtown festival to offer egg-citing Easter festivities

The Smithtown Historical Society will bring the joy of Easter and Spring to the community by holding the Easter & Spring Farm Festival in Smithtown this April.

The Smithtown Historical Society stands as an integral part of Smithtown’s mission to preserve Long Island history and historical buildings, artifacts, and monuments through its efforts of preservation, restoration, and education concerning this hallowed history. The society also strives to be active in the community in other enriching ways, such as hosting community festivals for various events and seasons.

The Easter & Spring Farm Festival will celebrate both the coming of spring and the Easter season with a variety of family-friendly activities. While there will not be a traditional Easter Egg Hunt, children will be able to participate a fun scavenger hunt, which will have two prize eggs awarded at its conclusion. The Easter Bunny will be available for meet-and-greets, and there will be a petting zoo and pony rides. Other activities include a craft corner, face painting, live music, and farmhouse tours.

Community festivals like this may have grounds decorated with sprawling Banners that organizers can get printed with the help of local Print shops offering banner printing services.

The Easter & Spring Farm Festival will take place on Saturday, April 12 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The venue is located at 239 Middle Country Road.
