The IPPS Eastern Region will hold the Annual Plant Production Conference in Hauppauge, near Smithtown, next month.
The IPPS Eastern Region was founded in 1951 as the International Plant Propagators' Society, and now Forms a global network of plant professionals, businesses, and horticulturists looking to hone their plant production skills. The IPPS provides its members with educational seminars, conferences, and field days to enhance their knowledge.
The annual conference will invite plant production professionals from across Long Island to learn from leading experts in the field of horticulture. The three-day event will be an opportunity for attendees to socialize with like-minded peers, as well as reconnect with their passion for plants. There will be various educational seminars, including speeches from keynote speakers, and guided tours of Untermyer Gardens and Conservancy, Wave Hill Gardens, and the New York Botanical Gardens. Conference attendees will also be able to participate in a poster and display session.
