Health-conscious locals in Smithtown can take part in an upcoming event for a good cause.
Mike’s Hike and Wellness Fair will feature a 4K race, a 2K family walk, and a one-lap fun run for the kids.
For the 5th time, the event will be held in memory of Mike Denaro. Proceeds from the event will go to help the Mike Hike’s Scholarship Fund and the Smithtown Children’s Foundation.
After the running and walking events, participants can check out the wellness fair, where there will be face painting, entertainment, refreshments, and medical screenings.
Banner printing is often used to make large Signs to welcome people to fairs and athletic events. Banners are a good way to designate the start and finish of a race.
Registration costs $20 for the 4K and the 2K. On event day, the price goes up to $30, while the kids’ fun event costs $10. The first 300 registrants will be given a free T-shirt while the first 500 will get a bag. Registration can be completed online.
