In May, the Smithtown Historical Society will host the Spring Village Art and Craft Fair, as well as the Spring Farm Festival for the enjoyment of the Smithtown community.
Since 1955, the Smithtown Historical Society has been preserving historical sites and providing educational programs and events for the community, such as the two spring festivals it is hosting in May.
The first festival, the Spring Farm Festival, will take place at the Smithtown Historical Society’s farm. The event will feature children’s games and crafts, as well as pony rides and opportunities to pet the farm animals at the petting zoo. There will also be food trucks, local vendors, and craft demonstrations for guests to enjoy.
The second festival, the Spring Village Art and Craft Fair, will also take place on the historical society’s grounds. The fair will feature numerous artisans and artists versed in the areas of photography, textiles, pottery, jewelry, and gourmet foods, just to name a few.
Festival-type events like these often present good opportunities for vendors and organizers to build a customer base by handing out Business Cards.
The Spring Farm Festival is slated for May 16, from noon to 4:00 pm, and costs $5 to attend. The Spring Village Art and Craft Fair is scheduled for May 29, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and is free to attend.
