‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ is coming to the stage near Smithtown in just over a week.
Released in 1965, this classic Christmas tale features Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts gang, seeking to find the true meaning of the season.
SoLuna Studio’s children’s theater will be hosting this performance. Located in Hauppauge, only a few miles away from Smithtown, the performing arts school offers classes for all ages. Students can choose from acting, theater, dance, music, and production classes.
Along with the children’s theater, the center has professional shows and also youth and teen productions. The establishment also offers summer camps, birthday parties, field trips, and programs for individuals with special needs. The studio hopes to foster a ‘creative community’ for all of its students.
With so many classes and services, it is likely the studio has asked brochure printers to make a glossy trifold handout with class descriptions and details of upcoming performances.
Admission is $15 for adults, $12 for students and seniors, and $10 for kids who are under 12 years old. Tickets can be purchased on EventBrite, and group rates are also available.
