Automobile lovers in Smithtown can soon attend an all-day car event, as the St. Patrick School is hosting its 10th Annual Spring Car Show Fundraiser.
Admission costs $5 for adults but children, ages 12 and under, are free. Car owners can also bring their cars for $15 or their motorcycles for $5. Car clubs are welcomed too.
The first 200 vehicle owners who come to the show will be given a swag bag and an event-themed T-shirt.
Both classic and unique cars will be on site. In addition, famous automobiles like the car from the ‘Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang’ musical will be in attendance.
Along with cars, there will also be activities for the kids such as inflatables and a rock climbing wall. Attendees can purchase food or crafts from vendors, and raffles, giveaways, and a DJ are some of the other highlights.
All of the proceeds from the event will go to the school’s educational programs. To encourage more people to attend, a postcard printing service could have created a direct mailer to send out to the Smithtown community.
It all takes place on April 26 from 9:00am until 4:00pm. In the event of rain, the event will take place on May 3. St. Patrick School is located on 284 East Main Street. For more information, call John Forlenza at 631-588-2696.
