In June, Mercy Haven will host its 21st Annual Golf Outing to benefit the homeless and disadvantaged populations in Cormack, Smithtown, and the surrounding Long Island area.
Founded in 1985, Mercy Haven provides supportive services and both temporary and permanent housing for the homeless and other at-risk groups. For 20 years, the nonprofit organization has been holding charity golf tournaments to raise money for its housing and support programs. This upcoming June tournament will be the 21st anniversary of this event.
The golf outing will feature a breakfast buffet and barbeque lunch, along with dinner and cocktails in the evening for both golfers and nongolfers. There will be prizes for hole-in-one shots and numerous raffle baskets from sponsoring businesses featuring Promotional Products and other prices. Golfers and regular attendees will also be able to participate in a silent auction.
The Mercy Haven 21st Annual Golf Outing is scheduled for Monday, June 7, with registration beginning at 11:00 am. Actual golf play will begin at noon. The venue location is the Hamlet Golf & Country Club in Commack. A foursome ticket costs $1,300, while single golfer tickets are priced at $350. For those only wanting dinner, tickets will cost $100.
Organizers request that those with questions contact Heidi at 631-277-8300. Mercy Haven’s event page can also be visited for more information.
