The Port Promenade event will once again take place in downtown Port Washington this July, closing off the street for a major block party.
The evening will feature live musical entertainment, including a “silent disco” and performances by The Bodega Tallboys, The Band at Lennon’s, and Lions of Winter. Visitors can also take place in live events like lawn games, Slot Shot, and a foam party. There will be a Kids’ Fun Zone with activities aimed at a younger audience. This will be the second of two Port Promenade Events this summer, following a June 12 event, and will feature different musical acts, vendors and special activities. The street will be closed off for the event, with visitors encouraged to take the LIRR, or make use of nearby free parking.
The festival will also feature dozens of businesses representing the diversity of Port Washington’s business community. Featured food vendors include Aki Japanese Restaurant, Gino’s Pizzeria & Restaurant, and Uncle Louie G Italian Ice. Local events like this allow for vendors to connect with new customers, often making use of sign and banner printing to help stand out in the festival area. Entertainment is organized through the Landmark on Main Street business association.
The 2025 Port Promenade event will take place on Upper Main Street in Port Washington on the evening of Thursday, July 17.
