HEARTS PW will be bringing back its Broadway Across the Bay fundraiser this November, with stars of the Great White Way performing to benefit local arts education.
The event will feature special appearances by Blaine Alden Krauss, who recently starred in Hamilton; Chicago star Kimberly Marable; Samantha Pauly, who appeared in the original Broadway productions of The Great Gatsby and SIX; Tony award-nominated actor A. J. Shively; and Grammy winner Alysia Velez. The show will be produced and hosted by prolific Broadway producer Stephen DeAngelis with music directed by Rachel Dean.
The stars will perform live in concert, with an assortment of songs made famous through musical theater. Funds raised from the event will go towards the HEARTS PW organization, which supports arts education in Port Washington. Hearts PW has provided over 30 grants this year for schools and community programs, including several at Schreiber High School.
The fundraiser is supported by the Peter & Jeri Dejana Foundation and the Community Chest of Port Washington. Other sponsors will be recognized with VIP perks and mentions in the show playbill. Fundraising events like this one often use brochure printing and speeches to help recognize contributors like sponsors and volunteers.
The 2026 edition of Broadway Across the Bay will take place on the evening of November 14 at the Schreiber High School Auditorium in Port Washington.
