Photography and sports enthusiasts in the Manhasset, New York area will be excited to learn about an upcoming event hosted by the Manhasset Great Neck Camera Club.
Al Bello, who is currently the Chief Sports Photographer for Getty Images, will be speaking about his experiences in the field.
Bello has traveled all over the world to photograph sporting events. He has taken pictures of the Olympics, the Stanley Cup, World Series, and the Super Bowl, and has also photographed major tennis events and moments of action from the World Cup. Bello has a passion for boxing above all though, and his photos of many world title fights will no doubt be discussed.
The Manhasset Great Neck Camera Club was founded in 1951 and has been working to foster an appreciation for photography in the community. Members vary in skill level and work in different media, from traditional black and white to digital.
