Port Washington to rev up for food truck festival

The Four Wheel Feastival will take place in Port Washington next month for a day of feasting from local food trucks, jiving to local bands, and enjoying family-friendly activities.

The event was conceived by Daphnée, a Haitian native who found a passion for food trucks through her travels exploring the various different kinds of this dining option in the New York area. The Feastival celebrates this unique method of delivering food to hungry customers no matter where they may be.

At the festival, attendees will enjoy a varied lineup of local food trucks offering cuisines such as Caribbean, Mediterranean, Asian, and BBQ. Sweet treats and refreshments will also be available. There will be live musical performances to enjoy and family-friendly games such as cornhole and Giant Jenga to participate in as well. Giveaways of fun prizes will also be offered throughout the day.

Local businesses often see festivals like this as an opportunity to connect with the community through sponsorship activities. This may come in the form of donating Promotional Products to be used in contests and giveaways.

The Feastival will take place on Saturday, August 10 from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm. It will be held at North Hempstead Beach Park, which is located at 175 West Shore Road. General admission is free, while VIP tickets are $35.
