Port Washington will be saluting its artistic community during an event that will bring artists and the public together.
The multi-vendor makers’ mart will be a one-day experience showcasing a wide assortment of works crafted by area artists. It will take place rain or shine, and all ages are welcome to come out and meet some of the people who make up the local creative community.
Many items will be on offer ranging from hand made jewelry, home décor, collages, greeting cards and even vegan makeup, to complementary beverages and other light refreshments will be on offer. There will also be raffles and other prize giveaways, and at least eight vendors will be participating in the occasion.
To help ensure the event is accessible to as many people as possible, there is no admission fee being charged for the makers’ mart. It will run for six hours and will begin at 11:00 am. A local printing services provider can be called upon to supply branded Packaging materials, Business Cards, order Forms and other materials for any artists that will have their works on display during this sort of function.
September 15th has been set as the date for this showcase of Port Washington’s artistic side. It will be held at 6 Carleton Avenue, and anyone who is interested is welcome.
