Northwell Health’s Center for Wellness and Integrative Medicine will hold the In-Person Reiki II Training Certification Class next month for learners in the Roslyn and Port Washington area.
Northwell is a holistic and multidisciplinary educational and wellness retreat center that creates individualized health and wellness plans specific to each person’s needs. The center employs a wide variety of integrative health practitioners, including a holistic nurse practitioner, acupuncturist, reflexologist, nutritionist, and others. The center often holds wellness workshops and metaphysical classes for the community, with the Japanese energy healing art of Reiki fitting in with this.
This session is for intermediate reiki practitioners who have already completed the Reiki I training. The workshop will teach students two energy attunement techniques to increase their knowledge and sensitivity of the energy process. They will learn three second-degree sacred symbols, which will include hands-on practice. The class will also cover Reiki circles, distant healing techniques, and marketing tips.

The Reiki training class will take place on Saturday, September 9, from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm. It will be held at the Center for Wellness and Integrative Medicine, which is at 1500 Old Northern Boulevard, 2nd Floor Harbourview Shoppes in Roslyn, just four miles from Port Washington.
