Port Washington to celebrate vintage music years

This summer, locals can enjoy a special performance at Landmark on Main Street.

Vintage Bliss, Susanne LoFaso, and Vincent Roccaro will be hosting an afternoon dedicated to the history of rock ā€˜n’ roll music. The music will all be from the 1950s and 1960s, and guests will likely sing along to at least some of the tunes.

Landmark on Main Street hosts a number of attractions in Port Washington. It is a mixture of elderly housing, a town park, and a community center that hosts many events throughout the year, covering a number of genres and ages.

Apart from just covering music for the ā€˜50s and ā€˜60s, there will also be trivia. Before the show starts, there will be a free afternoon tea, with snacks and beverages. Those going to the show should arrive early, as there is limited street parking available, and no spaces are guaranteed directly around the venue.

This event was made possible by Corporate Gifts, as stated on the webpage. The afternoon tea was also made possible by these donors, all of whom are listed on the site. The performance is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, July 25, getting underway at 2:00 pm, but the doors open at 1:30 pm for the afternoon tea. Tickets are available onsite or over the phone only at this point in time.
