The Port Washington non-profit Residents Forward will recognize two of its members for their outstanding contributions next month at the Gala 2022 event.
Residents Forward advances important projects to develop and maintain a beautiful, clean, and sustainable Port Washington. Its projects include the area’s most comprehensive groundwater sustainability study, the Port Washington Youth Climate Summit, and various programs to beautify and clean up Port Washington. The Gala 2022 will honor Mindy Germain and Melissa Vissicchio, two members of the board of directors who have been integral in advancing these projects.
Germain is the current vice-president. She played a key role in the groundwater sustainability study, developed Port Washington’s first cigarette butt recycling program, and led the Port Washington Mural Project, among many others. Vissicchio is the current co-president and chair of the beautification committee. Her achievements include advancing advocacy and educational initiatives and developing and executing mural and garden projects. The gala will include dinner, dancing, and a recognition ceremony.
Gala organizers often send out fancy Invitations to invite special guests to the event. Such invitations can easily be printed in bulk by local Stationery printers.
The gala is scheduled for June 3 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at North Hempstead Beach Park on 175 West Shore Road. Member tickets are $135, and non-member tickets are $150.
