Just minutes from Port Washington, Morton’s The Steakhouse in Great Neck will present the A Taste of Legends Wine Dinner next month to celebrate Tuscany’s regional wines.
Morton’s The Steakhouse began in Chicago in 1978, and went on to become award-winning. It has franchises in numerous locations across the US, as well as around the world. The restaurant prides itself on its curated wine selection and often hosts special events revolving around its global wine list.
November’s event will feature the finest Tuscany wines to complement a five-course gourmet dinner. The first course will be a charcuterie plate paired with Feudo Montoni Rose di Adele. The second course will be a lobster risotto paired with Vermentino Maremma Toscana DOC, and the third course will feature a dry-aged New York Strip paired with Biondi-Santi Rosso.
The fourth course will be a Short Rib Valdestano paired with Gaja Pieve Santa Restituta, and the fifth course will be a Salted Caramel Panna Cotta paired with Volpaia, Vinsanto del Chianti Classico DOC.
