Toastmasters is an international organization that helps its members to become better public speaker,s and also sharpen their leadership skills. Its District 46 branch has issued an invitation to its membership, guests and the public to attend a Port Washington holiday celebration with a smorgasbord of dishes from all over the world.
A full agenda of activities has been planned for the evening, including dancing, music, and presentations from an assortment of speakers. Guests can toast the season over cups of eggnog, and there will also be cookies, candy, and other holiday treats.
The meal, which will be served buffet-style, will offer at least nine hot items plus a variety of cold dishes. Dessert is included, as are coffee and tea, and a cash bar service will also be available. The attendees will be able to play games, sing carols, and gett to meet new friends.
