Manhasset light festival to continue into 2022

Port Washington should note that the LuminoCity Festival Holiday Lights, which began in November, will continue through next month.

The LuminoCity Festival is an illuminated holiday light adventure located at Whitney Pond Park in Manhasset. The festival consists of creative light sculptures and works of art designed to be an immersive and magical experience for the whole family. Among the themes featured are the Christmas Hills exhibit with Christmas-specific sculptures and the Alice Sleepwalk exhibit filled with Cheshire cat and magic potion sculptures.

For more daring attendees, the Mysterious Forest exhibit will take them along a rambling path through illuminated flora and fauna. There will also be a special 3D-sculpture exhibit called Lumi’s Utopia that brings to life 2D children’s illustrations.

Tickets will adhere to specific timeslots, allowing attendees to enter at any time during their slot with no restrictions on visiting time until closing. Organizers ask guests not to arrive more than five minutes earlier than their timeslot, however.

Festival events can benefit from poster advertisements to boost visibility, making local Print shops specializing in poster printing a helpful option for organizers.

The LuminoCity Festival will run through December into the beginning of January. Whitney Pond Park is located at 7 Community Drive East, Manhasset, only a few minutes from Port Washington. Tickets range in price from $27 to $76.
