Two hospitals located near Port Washington made the final list, with St. Francis Hospital ranked as fourth in the state of New York and North Shore University Hospital qualified in five clinical areas. Huntingdon Hospital and Winthrop University Hospital were also rated among the nation’s top 50. It is likely that many of the 148 hospitals that ranked in one of the 12 clinical areas will utilize the service of printing companies to promote this fact. The use of poster and banner printing is likely to aid hospital fundraising activities and attract new patients.
As two North Shore-LIJ hospitals qualified, Dr. Jeremy Boal, MD, Senior Vice-president, and CMO, was understandably delighted and said:

As for St.Francis Hospital, it was ranked the best in the country in four different specialties: gastroenterology, neurosurgery, geriatrics, and neurology. Proud of this achievement, Alan D. Guerci, M.D and hospital CEO, praised all involved for their skill, focus, and dedication.
