In mid-April, Tech Training Solutions will offer its Introduction to Statistics course for Port Washington and the surrounding Long Island area.
Tech Training Solutions is a leading provider in professional development training focused in the areas of information technology and computer science. The company provides both in-person instruction and virtual training, with interactive and live components. April’s statistics course will be held virtually for residents of the Long Island area.
Offered as a two-and-a-half-week course on Mondays and Fridays, the are no prerequisites for the course, but it can be considered a prerequisite for machine learning and data science classes. Those who take part will learn key concepts such as probability distributions and hypothesis testing. They will also be introduced to Bayesian Thinking, with material such as conditional probability and maximum likelihood covered. The course will even introduce machine learning and how statistics fit in with this.
