Next month, Port Washington amateur golfers will get the chance to take part in the New York City Tour.
Nextgengolf hosts the City Tour Tournament event series to give amateur golfers an opportunity to participate in local and national competitions that have a low commitment level. Every city in the tournament hosts a weekend event, and winners from each event will go on to represent their city at the City Tour Championship this autumn.
The New York City Tour will take place at Harbor Links Golf Club. Players can form teams of four to six, take part in pairs, or sign up as a free agent to be assigned to a team at the competition. Participants will be able to choose from two formats according to their ability level, best ball for more serious play, and scramble for more relaxed play. Registration price includes a cart, range, Srixon Z-Star balls, Promotional Products from sponsors, and awards. There will be no membership fees charged.
The Port Washington golf event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 6, beginning at 11:00 am. Harbor Links Golf Course is located on 1 West Fairway Drive. The registration fee is $130.
