Former Port Washington area grads invited to reunite

Forty years ago, Schreiber High School’s class of 1978 walked across the stage to receive their diplomas, and they have been invited to come together in Port Washington once again to catch up and celebrate old times.

The group will be offered the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities that have been planned by the organizers of the occasion. Guests can take part in the one that best fits their schedule, and they are welcome to participate in as many as they wish.

The choices on offer include a cocktail party that will be held in Louie’s restaurant, a cruise day out on the water that will include dinner and drinks, and a banquet-style dinner that has been planned for the Port Washington Yacht Club . A morning meal complete with a tour of the class’s old high school stomping grounds, and a farewell luncheon at Finn McCool’s are also included in the plans for the reunion.

The planners of the festivities noted that they wished to extend their thanks to all those who have helped to make the event a reality. A local banner printing company can work with those who organize an occasion like this with Banners and other decorations to make the festivities even more memorable.

This reunion of the class of 1978 has been organized for the weekend of August 24. Anyone who would like to get more information can find it on the website set up for the function.
