Hempstead House will be holding its annual Fine Art Fair in Port Washington this February, showcasing the work of over 30 independent artists.
The weekend-long show will kick off with a VIP Preview Cocktail Reception in which guests can converse with artists, enjoy hors d’ouevres and get the first look at the artwork. The exhibit will open to the public on the next day. In addition to pillars of the local art scene, the Fair looks to highlight up-and-comers, including for the first time an Emerging Artists Exhibit featuring the work of students from Schreiber High School. Last year was the inaugural edition of the Fine Art Fair and attracted over 800 viewers, with the sophomore edition looking to be bigger and better.
The show aims to combine the creativity of the artwork on display with the scenic background of the historic Gould-Guggenheim Castle. Artists on display include Nina van Alphen, Anisha Bianes Kell, and Leni Paquet-Morante. Art exhibitions like this often use booklet and brochure printing to help provide additional context to the art, with Hempstead House publishing a “look book” with biographies and art images for each participating artist.
The 2025 Fine Art Fair of Hempstead House will take place at the Gould-Guggenheim Estate, with the Cocktail Reception on February 8 and the Public Showcase on February 9.
