Next month, the LI-Kick will be hosting an adult dodgeball open house near Port Washington for any residents wishing to relive their childhood hobby and get involved in an adult league.
The LI-Kick is the area’s largest sports organization that provides Long Island with co-ed social sports for adults. Founded in 2013, the organization’s mission is to create a sports-oriented community where adults can meet new friends and learn new skills. It features 100 leagues with over 700 teams, including co-ed kickball, bowling, cornhole, soccer, and volleyball leagues that operate year-round.
The dodgeball open house event will provide the opportunity for attendees to learn about the LI-Kick's adult dodgeball league before deciding to commit. The open house will go over how pickup games will be organized, as well as discuss the weekly league, which will begin on January 13.
The open house is slated for Wednesday, January 6, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. It will occur at the Sid Jacobson JCC (Jewish Community Center) at 300 Forest Avenue, Roslyn. Entry fee is $25 and can be purchased on Eventbrite. For more information, those interested can visit the organizer’s website. For open house events such as this, organizers often hand out informational materials to attendees, which may require the aid of businesses specializing in brochure printing services.
