Music festival to rock Mamaroneck
Steinyfest will be returning to Mamaroneck this October, bringing a variety of musical artists and vendors with it for the 6th annual edition of the festival.
This year’s festival will be headlined by multi-instrumentalist Theo Katzman, who is known for combining genres like funk, jazz and indie rock, and his work with the band Vulfpeck. Joining Katzman are New York-based rock n’ roller Sid Simons, folk-pop singer-songwriter Amelia Day, and 80s-inspired rock band Blue Light Bandits.
The goal of the festival is to expose music fans to new artists, with promotional material using the catchphrase “Find your new favorite band!” Festivals like this often use methods like poster printing or social media to promote their artist lineup. Steinyfest will also feature a vendor village for the first time, with local artisans and small businesses. Attendees can refresh themselves with food trucks and tents offering beer, wine and cider.
This year will be the first Steinyfest to be an all-day experience. The festival will begin in the afternoon with performance by local bands The Wild Life, Eli Maxwell, Summerfeet and Stink Floyd, showcasing the Mamaroneck community. Also for the first time, children will be admitted free to Steinyfest. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own chair, blankets and other seating for the outdoor show.
The 2025 edition of SteinyFest will take place on October 4 at Toyota City in Mamaroneck.
